Our Programmes

Each programme is a structured engagement with a specific focus — not a one-size course, but a considered chapter in your financial understanding.

A Money Inventory programme

Programme One

The First Chapter: A Money Inventory

A four-week introductory programme that walks each participant through a calm, complete inventory of their financial life — accounts, balances, recurring commitments, insurance and standing intentions for the future.

  • Two evening sessions per week
  • Small group with one facilitator
  • Produces a personal bound document
  • Four-week duration
Fund Factsheet reading course

Programme Two

Reading the Fund Factsheet

A six-week course on reading and interpreting Malaysian fund factsheets, prospectuses and annual reports without specialist training — including common ratios, fee compounding and how to compare similar products honestly.

  • Class size capped at twelve
  • Weekly practice with local documents
  • No prior finance background needed
  • Six-week duration
Estate and Legacy planning programme

Programme Three

Estate and Legacy Reading Programme

A five-month structured engagement on the legal, financial and personal side of preparing one's estate — covering will-making in Malaysia, faraid and wasiat where applicable, joint asset structures and family conversations.

  • Notary advisor on two sessions
  • Closing personal binder included
  • Single-track, measured monthly pace
  • Five-month duration

Why People Join Mutiara Wira

Designed for Your Stage of Life

Programmes are written with the concerns and questions of people in their 40s, 50s and 60s in mind — not adapted from a generic financial literacy course.

Small Groups, Real Conversations

Class sizes are kept deliberately small. There is room to ask questions that matter, and time to work through what each session means for your own situation.

Grounded in Malaysian Context

Sessions use real local documents — SC-registered fund factsheets, Amanah Saham prospectuses, Malaysian will templates — not international examples that miss the detail.

No Products Sold in the Room

Mutiara Wira is an education provider, not a distributor. No investment products, insurance plans or financial products are offered, promoted or referred during any programme.

A Pace That Allows Reflection

Sessions are spread across weeks, not compressed into a weekend. The spacing is intentional — it gives participants time to sit with what they have learned before the next chapter begins.

Something Tangible to Keep

Most programmes conclude with a physical document — a personal financial inventory, an annotated binder, or a summary of key decisions — that each participant takes home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these programmes for?
Each programme is written for working adults and retirees over 40 in Malaysia who want a clearer understanding of their own financial position. No background in finance is assumed. The content is not remedial — it is simply designed for people who have accumulated some financial history and want to make sense of it.
Where do the sessions take place?
Programmes are conducted in person at our address in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur — 49 Lorong Maarof, 59000. The space is quiet, comfortable and not a large corporate training room. Evening sessions are timed to work around a full day.
How many people are in each programme?
Group sizes are kept small by design — usually between six and twelve participants. This is not a lecture format. There is time for questions, for working through real documents, and for the facilitator to address individual points as they come up.
Does Mutiara Wira sell or recommend financial products?
No. Mutiara Wira is an education provider only. We do not hold a financial advisory licence, and no investment products, insurance plans or financial instruments are offered, promoted or referred within any programme. The purpose of each course is to build your own capacity to read and understand — not to direct you toward any particular product.
How do I register, and when does the next intake begin?
Contact us using the form below or by calling +60 3-2287 6149. We will share the upcoming schedule and confirm whether space is available. Intake dates vary by programme. The Estate and Legacy Programme runs once per cycle, so early enquiry is worthwhile if that is your interest.
What is the fee and what does it include?
Fees are listed with each programme: RM 580 for the Money Inventory, RM 1,420 for the Fund Factsheet course, and RM 2,810 for the Estate and Legacy Programme. Fees cover all session materials, printed documents and any reference binders included in the programme. Payment terms are confirmed at registration.
Is participant information kept confidential?
Yes. Contact details and any personal financial information shared during sessions are treated with care. We do not share participant information with third parties for marketing purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further detail.
