These terms govern your use of the Mutiara Wira website at mutiarawira.info and your participation in any of our financial education programmes. Please read them carefully. By submitting an enquiry or enrolling in a programme, you agree to these terms.

Definitions

• "Company", "we", "us", "our" refers to Mutiara Wira, 49 Lorong Maarof, 59000 Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
• "You", "participant", "user" refers to any individual accessing the website or enrolling in a programme.
• "Programmes" refers to the three educational courses offered by Mutiara Wira: The First Chapter, Reading the Fund Factsheet, and the Estate and Legacy Reading Programme.
• "Website" refers to the website at mutiarawira.info.
• "Agreement" refers to these terms and conditions, together with any enrolment confirmation we send you.
• "Materials" refers to workbooks, handouts, binders, and any written or digital content produced by Mutiara Wira for use in our programmes.

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, confirming enrolment, or attending a programme session, you indicate that you have read and accepted these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or enrol in our programmes.

Our programmes are open to persons aged 18 and above who have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law. We reserve the right to decline any enrolment request at our discretion.

Our Services

Mutiara Wira provides structured financial education programmes delivered in person in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur. Our three current programmes are:

• The First Chapter: A Money Inventory — A four-week introductory programme conducted in small groups, two evening sessions per week. Fee: RM 580.
• Reading the Fund Factsheet — A six-week course on interpreting Malaysian fund documents, capped at twelve participants. Fee: RM 1,420.
• Estate and Legacy Reading Programme — A five-month engagement covering estate and legacy planning. Fee: RM 2,810.

Programme schedules, facilitators, and session formats are subject to change. We will notify enrolled participants of material changes with reasonable notice.

Our services are currently available only to residents of, or persons able to attend in person in, the Klang Valley, Malaysia.

Your Responsibilities

When using our website or attending a programme, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in any enquiry or enrolment form.
• Attend sessions punctually and with reasonable preparation where requested.
• Treat other participants, facilitators, and staff with consideration.
• Not record, reproduce, or distribute session content or materials without our written permission.
• Not use any materials provided for commercial purposes.
• Notify us promptly if your contact details change.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Mutiara Wira website — including text, design, and layout — and all programme materials including workbooks, handouts and binders are the intellectual property of Mutiara Wira or its content contributors.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use materials provided as part of a programme you have enrolled in, for your own personal reference only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or adapt materials without our prior written consent.

Payment & Refunds

Programme fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are payable in full prior to the commencement of each programme unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed in your enrolment correspondence.

Cancellations by participants:

• Cancellation more than 14 days before programme start: full refund, less a RM 50 administrative fee.
• Cancellation 7–14 days before programme start: 50% refund.
• Cancellation fewer than 7 days before programme start: no refund. You may, with our agreement, transfer your place to another person.

Cancellations by Mutiara Wira: If we cancel a programme before it begins, a full refund will be issued. We are not liable for any other costs incurred by participants.

Partial or pro-rated refunds are not available once a programme has commenced, unless we have cancelled remaining sessions.

Enrolment Terms

Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and a written confirmation from us. An enquiry submission does not constitute a confirmed place.

Some programmes have a minimum enrolment requirement. If a programme does not reach the required minimum, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel it, with a full refund to enrolled participants.

Completion of a programme does not result in a formal qualification, licence, or certification. Bound personal documents produced within our programmes (such as the financial inventory binder) are for the participant's own use and do not constitute advice, certification, or regulatory endorsement.

Disclaimers

Our programmes provide general financial education and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or legal advice. Mutiara Wira is an educational provider, not a licensed financial adviser, fund manager, lawyer, or notary public.

Any guest speakers or advisors, including the notary advisor in the Estate and Legacy programme, attend in an educational capacity only. Their participation does not constitute a formal advisory relationship with participants.

We make no representations regarding specific financial outcomes for participants. Individual financial situations vary, and the usefulness of our programmes depends on how you apply what you learn.

The website is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be free from errors or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Mutiara Wira's total liability to you in connection with our programmes or website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant programme.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including financial decisions made as a result of attending our programmes, loss of income, or other losses not directly caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Termination

We may remove a participant from a programme without refund if their conduct is materially disruptive, disrespectful to others, or in breach of these terms. We will give reasonable warning before doing so where possible.

You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund policy in section 6. Withdrawal does not affect the intellectual property restrictions in section 5.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these terms or your participation in our programmes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us in writing at [email protected] to attempt an informal resolution. Most issues can be resolved through straightforward communication.

General Provisions

These terms, together with any enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mutiara Wira in relation to our programmes.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. A failure by us to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a successor organisation with reasonable notice.

All notices should be sent to us at the address or email in section 14.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Changes to payment or refund terms will be notified to enrolled participants directly before they take effect.

Your continued enrolment or website use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
